Worship Night Ministry Leaders
2 Chronicles 5:13-14
The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.
I grew up in a Christian home, and I was saved during the charismatic renewal when I went to a youth camp at Calvary Community Church in San Jose. I fell away from the Lord during my teens, but, in my mid-twenties I had an encounter with the Lord during worship that delivered me, and changed the course of my life. In search of God’s perfect plan for my life, I attended Brownsville School of Ministry in Pensacola, Florida and it was a time of spiritual growth and transformation. Over the last ten years, I have served the Lord as both a worship leader and music teacher. And as a career, I work as a music teacher, professional musician and composer. The Lord has blessed me with three wonderful children and a lovely wife, Kristi Burke, whom I married January 7, 2011.
I grew up in the Methodist Church in a Small Town of PA. When I was 16, I was introduced to the Holy Spirit. I was immediately attracted to the understanding that there is Power in the Holy Spirit. From then on I have been hungry for the Lord. With some experiences and growing pains, I’ve grown deeper in the Lord and now feel called to give back to the Lord what God has so graciously given me through service to the body of Christ. Together with my husband, Peter Schlatter, and our new baby PJ, we are honored to serve the church as worship event ministry leaders.
