International Ministry

We are passionate about seeing the work of Christ go beyond our building and Morgan Hill. Here are several of the ministries around the world that we support.

Since Convoy of Hope, a faith-based nonprofit, was founded in 1994 we have served more than 46 MILLION people throughout the world through international children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, disaster response and partner resourcing.

Currently, there are more than 131,000 children in our feeding initiatives in El Salvador, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Kenya, Nicaragua and the Philippines. Through the feeding initiatives we provide good nutrition, clean and safe drinking water, instruction on agricultural techniques, healthy living environments and education.

Year after year, we are lauded for our effectiveness and efficiency in mobilizing tens of thousands of volunteers for community outreaches and during times of disaster response. No matter what we are doing, our objective is to always deliver much-needed food, supplies and hope to the impoverished and suffering.

Our mission as believers is clear. We are to work towards the salvation of every individual on the earth. Every person matters and every soul is valuable to much so that heaven rejoices in celebration when even one person decides to follow Christ. It is important that these principles be instilled in the hearts and minds of our students. Passionate participation is an acknowledgement and embrace of Jesus' cause. His mission is the reason we strive to provide our missionaries with the "essential transportation and creative communication" tools they need for effective evangelism.

Our church is blessed to be able to support a assemblies of God missionary families. Our monthly support and prayer helps to bring the power of the gospel and the light of Christ to these nations!

Iris Ministries is a Christian organization committed to expressing a living and tangible response to those commandments that Jesus called greatest: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength," and "Love your neighbor as yourself."

It is our conviction that the Spirit of God has asked us to make this love concrete in the world, incarnate in our thoughts, our bodies, our lives and our every action. Iris Ministries exists to participate in bringing the Kingdom of God to earth in all its aspects, but most especially through our particular calling to serve the very poor: the destitute, the lost, the broken and the forgotten.

On the national level, we are committed to working with indigenous leaders, with the aim of facilitating a strong, empowered citizen leadership that can ultimately take the reigns of Iris's main in-country activities. In our home nation of Mozambique these include the building of schools, children centers, homes and churches; extensive feeding programs; evangelism and healing; well-drilling; medical care; training programs for local and international ministers; conference hosting and local pastoral care. In Mozambique, without exception, we are also committed to offering a home to every child we find who does not have a family. As our organizational capacity has grown we have been privileged to extend many of these activities to other nations, a growing list which currently includes Brazil, India, Indonesia, Israel, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Nepal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Korea, Sudan and Tanzania.

Peggy is called to impart and implant the prophetic Word of God into the hearts of men and women. This in turn ignites hope and faith to fulfill callings and move out in giftings. Peggy is known for the accuracy, depth and fulfillment of the prophetic words she speaks. She is recognized nationally and internationally as a prophetess to the Body of Christ. In 1993 the Lord called Peggy Cole into full time ministry. What happened next was a dramatic series of opportunities to minister worldwide in churches of all sizes, languages and denominations. She has ministered in some 56 countries and doors continue to open. Her goal is to fulfill the scriptural mandate, "Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples."
